—Creative Valley by GENT&MONK architects.
Creative Valley is a building for companies that want to work innovatively, mostly Cultural Creatives. Gathering their wishes we needed to produce a sustainable multi-talented building for multiple companies, each with its own identity yet sharing a certain number of facilities and contacts – an environment in which accommodation and business are merged.

——These two Kvivik Igloos are located in the Faroe Islands, Denmark.
Designed as accommodation for people visiting the area, the Igloos trademark grass roof insulates heat created from the fireplace on cool nights.
Each Igloo’s size is approximatly 300 square feet, with each Igloo accommodating two people. Inside is a kitchen, living room and loft, all with window views overlooking the mountains and ocean.
Perhaps the building is a little let down with the interior’s decorating and lack of bathroom, however with a little tweak to the design there is no doubt the missing amenities could be added.
The exterior of the buildings are created from octagon shapes, building a distinct and recognisable structure. The colours grey and red on the building compliments the green roof and surrounding natural features. Making this one of Intrinsic Habitat’s favourite Micro Houses.

—MYSTERIOUS TINY ROOMS BY MARC GIAI-MINIET
French artist Marc Giai-Miniet (Born in 1946 in Trappes) makes some of the most incredibly detailed (and disturbing!) dollhouses that we’ve ever seen. Marc started creating these disturbing shadowbox dioramas rather late in his career, recurring themes include libraries, furnaces, laboratories, submarines and intestine-like tubing in lonely, decaying spaces.
